LAHORE: Pakistan batting coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis have announced to step down from their responsibilities .
PCB mentioned Former Spin Bowler Saqlain Mushtaq and Famous All-Rounder Abdul Razzaq have joined the group administration as interim coaches for the New Zealand collection.
Both Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis had joined the national team as batting and bowling coach respectively in September 2019.
Misbah said that he had reviewed his 24-month performance during quarantine in Jamaica. Currently, I am not in a frame of mind to take up more challenges, he added.
He said that he wanted to spend time with his family now.
