KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Green Line bus service today in Karachi.
According to details, the prime minister Imran Khan will arrive in Karachi today to inaugurate the Green Line bus service.
Former Finance Minister Asad Umar said that the prime minister will inaugurate the trial operation of Green Line Bus Service today. The full-scale bus service will begin in January, says Asad Umar.
The prime minister will arrive in the megacity Friday afternoon on a one-day visit. He will inaugurate the first phase of the hybrid bus project under the Karachi Transformation Plan.
The minimum fare for the latest Green Line bus service in Karachi is likely to be fixed at Rs 15 while the maximum is likely to be fixed at Rs 55. The 80 modern buses will be able to carry 150,000 people daily. The length of each bus will be 18 meters.
