Zara, the fast-fashion retailer, is under fire following the launch of its recent ad campaign, ‘The Jacket’.
In this latest promotion from the Spanish clothing brand, model Kristen McMenamy poses alongside mannequins wrapped in white cloth and plastic. The campaign has ignited public outrage, drawing criticism for its perceived resemblance to the events in Gaza.
The Jacket is part of the brand’s Atelier series which it describes as “a limited edition collection from the house celebrating our commitment to craftsmanship and passion for artistic expression”.
Social media users expressed shock and vowed to boycott Zara.
